PesticideLogs (“the App”) is a pesticide application record-keeping tool for professional and commercial applicators. Your privacy is fundamental to how the App is designed: your records belong to you and stay with you.
PesticideLogs does not collect, transmit, sell, or share any personal data with us or any third party. We operate no analytics servers and have no access to your records. All data you enter — application records, products, sites, photos, and settings — is stored locally on your device.
Your records are stored locally using Apple’s SwiftData framework. Information you enter into a record (such as applicator name, license number, or site address) is stored only to produce your own compliance records and never leaves your control.
If you enable iCloud Sync, your records are synced through your own private iCloud account using Apple’s CloudKit. This data resides in your personal iCloud, governed by Apple’s Privacy Policy. We do not operate the iCloud servers and we cannot access your synced data.
With your permission, PesticideLogs lets you attach photos (of sites, labels, or conditions) to your records using your camera or photo library. These photos are stored on your device and, if iCloud Sync is on, in your private iCloud. They are never uploaded to us.
If you grant permission, your location may be used on-device to help fill in a site address. Location data is not transmitted to us or any third party.
PesticideLogs offers a free tier and an optional “Pro” auto-renewable subscription. Purchases and renewals are processed entirely by Apple through the App Store. We do not receive or store your payment information.
PesticideLogs is a professional tool not directed at children. Because we collect no data, no children’s data is collected.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be reflected on this page with an updated date.
